ANGEL

This angel has been a Christmas decoration for as long as I can remember—her candle used to stay upright in her hand, but it came loose a few Christmases ago.

GOOD NEWS

These are the Christmas cards my family has received so far…so many friends/family have had amazing things happen in 2013 and I’m so pleased for them.

WORD

I went to the Project Transformation alumni Christmas party tonight and snapped this picture of the front sign of the coffee house where it was held. Union is a great word.

PATIENT/PATIENCE

I finished my Christmas cards today—writing all 38 of them took a LOT of patience let me tell you.

(I’m skipping Day 18 for now because I’ve yet to find a moment in my life that accurately represents mercy. Will post it whenever I come across a good moment of mercy.)

RESTORE

MISSION

My winter break task is to help put my hometown church’s library onto its first computerized system! Fitting since I’m studying to be a librarian and all. ; )

Spent 4 hours working on it today and got 67 books put into the system.

FREE

Went to Half-Priced Books to browse and came home with this book. It cost $3 but because I had this gift card, it was free! I love gift cards, I love free stuff, and most of all I love books (says the future librarian).
